RECENT CLARION NEWS: Senior guard Rollie Smith was named PSAC-West Player of the Week for the second week in a row after averaging 32.5 ppg while shooting 52.9 percent from the field Smith scored a career-high 38 points in the 90-72 win over UPJ Saturday and had 27 points in the 79-72 win over California Wednesday Smith, who was co-player of the week with Edinboros Jakim Donaldson, was joined by freshman forward Shamar Green in being honored by the PSAC. Green was chosen as the PSAC-West Rookie of the Week after averaging 14.0 ppg and 5.0 rpg in the 2-0 Clarion week. He connected for 20 points and seven rebounds in the win over UPJ.
