Clarion University senior guard Rollie Smith got an early Christmas present when he was named PSAC-West Player of the Week after his performance during the week that ended Dec. 22.

Smith helped the Golden Eagles (7-2) to a 3-0 week by averaging 18.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game.

In a 73-48 win over East Stroudsburg Saturday he posted 23 points including six three-pointers and totaled four rebounds and five assists. For the week, he was also 12-of-14 from the free-throw line.
