Clarion University freshman Shamar Green (Brooklyn, NY)/Xaverian was named the PSAC-West Rookie of the Week for the week ending Nov. 23.

In his first two collegiate games, Green helped the Golden Eagles to the title of the Subway/KFC Classic played at Clarion by shooting 68.4% from the field (13-1() and averaging 14.0 ppg and 6.5 rpg.

He posted a game-high 21 points and added six rebounds and two blocks in title game win over Winston-Salem.
