CLARION GOLFERS SECOND AT WESTMINSTER INVITATIONAL

            (New Castle, Pa.): Clarion finished second to Carnegie Mellon on Monday at the 10-team Westminster Invitational Golf Tournament held at the New Castle Country Club.

            CMU posted a team score of 308, while Clarion was second with 312 and Malone third with 318. Rounding out the top five teams were Westminster at 324 and Saint Vincent with 330.

            CMU’s Christopher Lee was medalist with a two-over par 74, while Clarion’s Tom Will was fourth with a 76, and teammates Justin Moose and Justin Scott were seventh with a 77. Nick Brucker was 21^st with an 82 and Preston Mullens was 24^th carding an 83.

            Clarion’s next action will be October 9^th at the Bearcat Invitational. The PSAC Championship follows October 14-15 in Hershey.
