GUYTON MEDALS AS GOLDEN EAGLES TAKE SECOND AT ALLEGHENY COLLEGE INVITATIONAL

MEADVILLE -- Matt Guyton won top honors for the third straight meet, as Clarion University's golf team tied for second the Allegheny College Invitational Tuesday at The Country Club in Meadville.

Guyton fired a two-under 70 on the 6,560-yard, Par 72 course besting Westminster's Scott Voelker by three shots.

The Golden Eagles as a team finished the day with a 308 tied for second with host Allegheny three shots back of first place Westminster.

Lou Jesiolkiewic shot a 78 for Clarion, Ryan Peffer and James Simpson each carded 80's and Paul Garris shot a 92.
