CLARION’S MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY TEAM FINISHES 14th AT REGIONALS
ELIKINS, W.VA. – Clarion’s men’s cross country team finished 14th at the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Saturday at Elkins, West Virginia.
The Golden Eagles scored 388 points. Edinboro won the meet with Millersville second and Shippensburg third.
"I was very pleased with our finish," Clarion’s 9th-year head coach Pat Mooney said. "We ran a good race, and we took a step forward from the PSAC race. We beat West Chester in this race which we didn’t do at the PSAC’s."
Clarion five scoring runners were A.J. Mayernik (49th – 35:10), Chris Noal (73rd –
36:24), Matt Andreassi (86th – 37:07), Matt Reinhold (88th – 37:16) and Aaron Neely (92nd – 37:30).
