CLARION’S ANNA BECK NAMED PSAC "RUNNER OF THE WEEK"

Clarion University freshman Anna Beck (Washington/Washington) is the PSAC Women’s Cross Country "Runner of the Week" for the week ending Sept. 28.

Beck led Clarion to the team title at the Duquesne Invitational Friday by finishing seventh overall and second among Division II runners. She cross the finish line if the five kilometer course in 18:55.

Beck has been the Golden Eagles top runner in all three meets this season finishing 14^th at Penn State Sept. 7 and sixth at IUP Sept. 21.

Clarion is back in action Saturday at the Lock Haven Invitational.
