Camp Director

Jennifer Harrison, just completed her first full season as head volleyball coach at Clarion University. A native of Belleville, Ontario, she spent two years at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County (UMBC) where she was an assistant coach and recruiting co-coordinator before coming to Clarion. UMBC was third in the Americn East Conference Tournament in 2006, advancing to the finals, the first time qualifying for the tournament in school history.

In her first season with the Golden Eagles, Harrison’s team was 28-6, finishing second in the PSAC and ranked second in the Atlantic Region. In the NCAA tournament, Clarion made it to the second round for the first time in school history. The second-place conference finish was the best since 1989 and the team’s 28 wins was the third-most in school history and the most wins for any head coach in their first season.

Clarion produced four All-Conference players in 2007, three All-Region, one All-American, and one Academic All-American.

Before her coaching stints at Clarion and UMBC, Harrison coached four years at Glenelg H.S., Md., propelling the team to elite status with a 64-13 record, making the state finals three consecutive years and winning the Maryland title in 2002. Her teams were three-time regional champions and she earned Howard County Coach of the Year honors in 2001 and 2003.

Harrison was a high school and college standout. Accepting a scholarship to Barton College, N.C., she was a three-time All-Conference selection, team co-captain, and MVP before being named to the All-Time Carolinas/Virginia Collegiate Volleybal Team.

She went on to play for the USAV Women’s Club team from 1999-2004 and the D.C. Professional Women’s Volleyball Tour from 2002-2004. She has worked camps at Pepperdine University, the University of Maryland, and Goldmedalquared Camps.
