Boys’ Basketball Shooting Camp
June 6-10, 2005
9 a.m.-noon
Grades 4-12
$85 per camper, includes T-shirt

Highlights: Individualized teaching of basketball fundamentals and shooting, individual development workouts, teaching of game strategies, and mental approach.

Special Features: 3-on-3 competition, skill and shooting contests.

Directed By Ron Righter, Clarion University head coach; assistant coaching staff; and collegiate players.

Boys’ Basketball Individual Camps
July 17-21, 2005
July 24-28, 2005
Recommended ages 10-17
Cost: $255

To become a good basketball player, each athlete must learn the fundamentals of the game. Through exposure to competitive and keen basketball minds, we hope to instill the burning desire it takes to become a successful player and person. Special attention will be given to each player’s present degree of skills and achievement.

Clarion coaches and their carefully selected staff are present every day during the two weeks of camp activities. We believe in personalized instruction and in providing an atmosphere of good sportsmanship and fair play.


Team Camp
July 22-24, 2005
Cost: $145 per player
First 15 teams will be accepted.

Very competitive team camp for JV, and varsity teams. In the past, we have had teams from Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, and West Virginia. Annually, teams that come to our camp reach post-season playoffs. Many former participants have claimed conference, section, district, and even state titles. Each team is guaranteed seven to eight games against teams of similar caliber. Coaches receive a salary for collecting deposits and completing the team roster, plus handling all remaining fees, paperwork, and correspondence.


Camp Information

  • Air conditioned facility; total of five indoor basketball courts

  • Instruction from some of the area’s top high school and college coaches and players

  • Camp T-shirt for all participants

  • All-you-can-eat meals

  • Large swimming pool, game room, tennis, etc.

  • Clarion Hospital is located within three miles of campus
