2005 PSAC-West “Coach of the Year”
                                            SCOTT FELDMAN - HEAD COACH
        Scott Feldman, 32, begins his seventh season as the Golden Eagles head coach after returning to his alma mater for the 2000 season.
        In 2005 Feldman was named PSAC-West “Coach of the Year” after leading the Golden Eagles to a PSAC-West First Place tie with a 12-8 divisional record and a 25-22-1 overall slate.
        In 2000 Scott led Clarion to a 17-18 overall record and a 10-10 PSAC-West slate, narrowly missing the PSAC Playoffs. In 2004 the Eagles were 18-29 overall and 5-15 in the PSAC-West. Feldman has a career record of 94-160-1.
        Feldman is the Director of the Clarion Skills and Drills Winter Clinic which draws over 100 campers annually.

        A native of nearby Brookville, Pa. and a 1996 graduate of Clarion University with a degree in Communication, Feldman earned three letters on the baseball team from 1994-96 as a starting and relief pitcher.
        After making six appearances in 1994 out of the bullpen, he was Clarion’s closer in 1995, appeared in 10 games, tossed 15.2 innings and notched a 1-0 record with 3 saves and a 9-inning ERA of 1.15. He earned second team PSAC-West honors.
        A tri-captain in 1996, Scott tossed 31.1 innings, posted a 2-3 overall record and had a 9-inning ERA of 4.88 as a starter.
        Feldman started his coaching career in 1997 and 1998 as an assistant under former mentor Rich Herman. He helped with on the field duties and focused on Clarion’s pitchers.
        Scott became a Stadium Operations Assistant for the Montreal Expos Class A team in the Florida State League in 1998 and moved to Washington, D.C. in December of 1999 to become the Athletic Director of the Aspen Hills Club, before returning to Clarion.
        A native of Brookville, Pa., Scott attended Brookville High School and was graduated in 1991. At Brookville High he earned two letters in football and basketball and three in track. He was a first team Little 12 punter on the gridiron and District 9 triple jump champion in track.
        Scott was Chair of the North Atlantic Region for the NCAA in 2004. He was head coach in the Valley League, an NCAA sanctioned Summer wood bat league, in 2002 and 2003.
        Scott and wife Christina Feldman, Clarion’s Women’s Soccer Coach, reside in Clarion.
