Five Eagles named All-PSAC-West

Clarion University senior outfielder Jared Frey (New Bloomfield/West Perry) is the PSAC-West baseball “Athlete of the Year”, while Golden Eagle head coach Scott Feldman is PSAC-West “Coach of the Year”.

Frey, who was also named first-team PSAC-West pitcher and first-team PSAC-West outfielder, is joined on the all-PSAC-West team by four of his teammates including two additional first-team selections (Sr. Kevin Gledhill – OF; Jr. Jason Warner – C) and two second team selections (Fr. The Golden Eagles were co-champions of the PSAC-West with Shippensburg, California and Slippery Rock and qualified for the PSAC Playoffs as the No. 1 seed from the West. It was Clarion’s first PSAC-West title and first PSAC Playoff appearance since 1984.
