SUMMER REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Registration
- Web registration availability: web
registration is available seven days a week from 8:30 a.m. – 11:00
p.m.
- Continuing Students become eligible to
register at the time stated in their registration scheduling email
and should use the web registration system described below.
- Students not admitted to Clarion may
begin registering April 25, 2008. Please
complete the registration forms on the web as mentioned under “How do
I enroll?”. Follow the instructions on each of the forms, and then
return them to the office(s) listed on the forms for processing in the
following time frame:
April 25 – May 7
Pre-Session processing
April 25 – May 23 Summer I processing
April 25 – June 27 Summer II processing
Web registration system (iClarion Portal)
– you may use any computer with internet access.

- Click the following selections to drill down
through the web menus: School Services

- Under the "Registration" heading on the blue
navigation bar, select Drop and Add classes.
- Select the appropriate term to be scheduled.
- Follow the directions to select classes.
- Please submit changes and check your current
schedule. Correct any registration errors before exiting.

Search for
open/closed courses and the basic course offerings for a specific
semester.

Aid
- Under the “Registration”
heading on the navigation bar, select “Course Section Search” or
Course Sections”.
- Select the appropriate term to search.
- Narrow your search using any or all of the
search criteria. The system has a maximum return value and will not
show all sections at once. If this happens, an error message will
show and ask you to narrow your search.
- During registration periods you may search for
a course section and add it to your schedule. To do this just click
the check box next to the open section you would like.
Other Important Features of Web for Students
There are many other features of Web for Students
that are available for your benefit. Under the Student Records menu
you may view your grades, unofficial transcript, transferred courses,
degree audit, and advisor. Under Student Accounts, you may view your
account summary/credit card payment. Under the Personal Information
menu you can change your PIN, view email address, and update your
Personal Information Form. Other applications you may want to access
on this website include: download the University Catalog, apply for
admission, view financial aid, and access courses using Blackboard.
How do I complete my registration
You must complete registration
for each term by:

Updating your Personal Information Form at
iclarion.clarion.edu. For instructions,

Printing a copy of your schedule. For
instructions,

·
Submitting payment of fees to the Accounts Receivable
Office, B-16 Carrier on Clarion Campus, or the Administrative Office
at Frame Hall, Venango Campus, if you did not already do so by mail.
Fees may also be paid using Web for Students at iclarion.clarion.edu
Access all of the above information in addition
to the Drop/Add process and Important Dates at: iclarion.clarion.edu
Credit Limit
If you expect to take more than five credits for
the Pre-Session or seven credits for the other two sessions, you must
have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.0 and the prior
approval of your college dean.
Classes Meet
All classes meet Monday through Friday at
scheduled times unless noted otherwise. There will be no classes on
Monday, May 26. Some classes may be cancelled
due to insufficient enrollment. Unfortunately, these decisions cannot
be made until the first day of class. The university must reserve the
right to change classes and instructors.
Purchase Books
Textbooks may be purchased at the University Book
Center in the James Gemmell Student complex beginning Monday, May 12,
from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can visit their website at:

University E-Mail
The university uses e-mail as a formal means of
communication to students regarding their enrollment. Students may
access their personal e-mail account at Clarion through the web at
iclarion.clarion.edu. All students should check their e-mail on a
regular basis.
