A student may refuse to permit disclosure of directory information by submitting to the Office of the Registrar, 122 Carrier Hall, at any time a written statement of such refusal.  However, if the student’s intent is exclusion of their information in the yearly printed directory, a student must submit this refusal during the first five days of the Fall semester.

An exception does exist in the cases where a student has filled out a third party release form.  If the student wants full non-disclosure to all outside parties then this must be clearly stated in the written statement or a Declaration of Parental Independence and Nondisclosure form must accompany your request for nondisclosure of information.
