I was one of those high school seniors who knew exactly what they wanted. I stepped on Clarion's campus and knew it was the right fit for me. Four years ago I could have never imagined all the opportunities that Clarion had to offer.

Being involved on campus has really shaped the woman I am today. Whether it's the various jobs I hold on campus or the many organizations that I am a part of. I have been a board member for the University Activities Board since the first week of my freshman year. As the CampusFest chair I have helped plan events that included bringing Dr. Maya Angelou, The Band Perry, Mac Miller, Cassadee Pope, Sam Hunt, Cartel and many more to Clarion's campus.

Because of my experience as CampusFest chair for UAB and lots of hard work in my classes, I was able to land an internship at Big Machine Label Group this past summer in Nashville, Tennessee. I spent the summer learning the ins and outs of a record label, putting together weekly reports, running errands, going to concerts and so much more. There is no doubt in my mind that my experiences on Clarion's campus led me to this opportunity.

In just a few months I will be a proud Clarion University alumna. I am thankful for all the amazing opportunities and people that Clarion has brought into my life. Because of Clarion, I am courageous and confident about what my future holds.
