Junior Secondary Social Studies Major

Jessica Grills Portrait

My story began this semester when I became a Community Assistant in Nair Hall. This job has changed everything! As a natural introvert, this job has pushed me to blossom into a Courageous, Confident, Clarion student. I have met many new people and made friendships that will last a lifetime. I developed a phenomenal support system made up of my fellow employees, residents, and friends. My residents can turn my day around and make me smile. These girls are my life and I find myself hoping and pushing them to succeed.

Not only am I more confident in myself as a person, but I am also confident in my residents. I hope to not only make me courageous and confident, but also them, too. This job has been a privilege, I'm very thankful to have gotten to know this wonderful group of ladies. My newly found confidence has carried over into my academic studies and has helped me to push myself to do the best that I can. Overall, this experience has made me a better person, it has made me into a Courageous, Confident, Clarion student.
