Clarion University of Pennsylvania ranks 13th among the best early childhood education schools in the country.
"Study.com has created a list of 50 schools that offer exceptional early childhood education programs. These schools offer a variety of programs that prepare individuals to teach children from PreK to third grade and to work with a wide range of attribute and disabilities their students might have," as stated on Study.com's website.
"When selecting our list, we looked at school statistics from the U.S. Department of Education as well as examined the unique programs, features and learning experiences offered at each school. Study.com's education degree rankings are unique in that they emphasize accessibility, affordability, and quality of education, which we considered the most important attributes in our school rankings."
"Therefore, the schools on this list all have early childhood education programs that prepare students for state certification and blow away the competition in terms of field hours, student organizations, classes, financial aid, and more without breaking the bank. Any school found on this list would be an excellent choice for an individual looking to prepare for a career in this teaching field."
Clarion University offers an associate of science and a bachelor of science in education in Early Childhood Education.
