Clarion University College of Business Administration and Information Sciences will present its annual Reed Lecture Series at 4 p.m. Oct. 25 in Carter Auditorium, Still Hall. Mark Tarkanick, a 2006 graduate of Clarion University with a BSBA in marketing, will be the featured speaker.
Tarkanick is regional marketing director for the East Division of Chartwells' Higher Education division. He will talk about how he worked his way up in the marketing department of Chartwells, food service provider for institutions of higher education, including Clarion.
The goal of the Reed Lecture Series is to enhance the academic experience of students through lectures presented by accomplished professionals, linking the academic experience with current business applications. The series is made possible by a donation from the Reed family.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
