Clarion celebrates women’s history with ‘Hidden Figures’ screening

hidden figuresIn honor of Women's History Month, Clarion University’s Office of Social Equity, Presidential Commission on the Status of Women, and Women and Gender Studies will host a free screening of the 2016 film “Hidden Figures” at 7 p.m. March 20 in Suites on Main North theater. The public is welcome.

"Hidden Figures" tells the story of a team of female African-American mathematicians who served a vital role in NASA during the early years of the U.S. space program.
