Former kings and queens return for 150th homecoming

Homecoming royalty will return Saturday as part of Clarion University’s sesquicentennial celebration. Twenty-seven past kings and queens, from as far back as 1953, will be recognized during the Autumn Leaf Festival Tournament of Leaves Parade.

The lineup, with graduation year and year they served on homecoming court includes:

The parade begins at noon. The community is invited to visit Clarion University Alumni Association Homecoming Parade Reception in the parking lot of Hart Chapel from 10 a.m. to noon for music, family activities and more.

The homecoming football game vs. Seton Hill begins at 2 p.m. at Memorial Stadium. This year's king and queen will be crowned during halftime festivities, and the 1977 football team will be honored.
