At this time of year, our thoughts turn to the upcoming holiday season and the warm feelings it inspires in us.
Clarion students have the opportunity to join the Eagle Ambassadors and Chartwells Dining Services in their Donate a Meal campaign to share this warmth with others by providing meals to needy individuals and families in and around Clarion.
Students are encouraged to donate their November 18 board meal dinner to support this project. Cash donations are also being accepted.
Sign ups are being held at the Eagle Commons Dining Hall on Monday and Tuesday, October 24 and 25 and Monday and Tuesday, October 31 and November 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.
All donations will be used to purchase turkeys that will be distributed by Clarion County Community Action to those in need.
