Clarion University Hosts Fall Senior Honors Presentations on November 17

The Clarion University community is cordially invited to attend the Fall 2016 Senior Honors Presentations.  The Honors community would greatly appreciate your attendance at the program being held tonight at 6 p.m. in 248 Gemmell.   

The Clarion University  Honors Program has benefited from a legacy of outstanding students like recent graduates and scholar athletes Jamie Wolf Jackel and Kristin Day.

Tonight the university has the opportunity to celebrate five seniors who will graduate in the near future.

We are thankful for the opportunity to hear about the research they have done to learn something unique and to advance knowledge.

The seniors presenting tonight include:

Benjamin Blinn, a Sec Ed, Mathematics major with a minor in Athletic Coaching will present “Analyzing Baseball Player Statistics with Regression to Project Career Trajectories”

Tyler Falk, a Finance and Corporate Finance major with a certification in Personal Financial Planning will present “Moneyball in the MLB: Fact or Myth”

Jon William James Haycock, a Chemistry major will present “Selective Oxidation of Alcohols”

Catherine Hogg, a Mathematics and Art major with a minor in Computer Science will present “Fine Arts and STEM”    

Jennifer Stuart, a Mathematics major will present “Hypothesis Testing and Facial Perception”
