October 20, 2015

handicap thisClarion University Activities Board will host Mike Berkson and Tim Wambach as they present “Handicap This!” at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 26 in Marwick-Boyd Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.

Berkson, who has cerebral palsy, will offer the audience a presentation on the disability challenges he has faced. Helped by his aide Wambach, Berkson’s goal is to exhibit inclusion, confront bullying and celebrate the potential diversity offers.

The "Handicap This!" website describes the event as "an honest message of inclusion and tolerance, a visceral experience of laughter and tears, a unique theater experience that in 71 unconventional minutes will educate, empower and entertain."
