Psychology students present their research

Students in Dr. Jeanne Slattery's Psychology 470, Senior Seminar, will present the results of their final projects May 5 in 124 Harvey Hall. Students had several options for project types: empirical research, assessments of university or community programs, or video to be submitted for the Noba Student Video Award. Their anticipated presentation schedule is:

  • 1:10 p.m. – Katelynn Bender of Lewistown, Kaylyn Brown of Slippery Rock and Bradley Kaiser of Pittsburgh, “Assessment of Tutoring Department at Clarion University”
  • 1:30 p.m. – Jason Rocha of Ridgway, Maria Santarsiero of Newport News, Virginia, and Sarah Skinner of Beaver, “Skills Learned at Clarion”
  • 2:15 p.m. – Natache Cobb of Curwensville, Hannah Domaradzki of Butler and Melia White of Mayport, “Relationship Preference Comparison Based upon Sexuality”
  • 2:35 p.m. – Jennifer Lucas of Mayport, Nicole Morine of Russell and Nicolas Plante of Clearwater Beach, Florida, "Relationship Between Anxiety, Well-Being and Stress in Clarion University Students"
  • 2:55 p.m. – Mirina Dragon of Harvey’s Lake, Emily Flaus of Pittsburgh and Andrew Manos of New Castle, "Can Positive Relationship with Supervisors Lead to Greater Job Satisfaction and Workplace Morale?"
  • 3:25 p.m. – Shannon Johanson of Wexford, Samantha McGarrity of Sligo and Jasmine Phelps of Cranberry Township, "Assessment of Clarion County Community Workshop"
  • 3:45 p.m. – Madison Brown of Beaver, Richard Caton of Pittsburgh and Kevin Guerrier of Philadelphia, "The Processes of Memory and the Importance of Understanding Them" (video to be submitted to Noba)
  • 4:05 p.m. – Rebecca LaPierre of Sigel, Sarah Monks of Butler and Kierstin Moore of Selinsgrove, "Assessing Clarion County's Literacy Needs"
