Men, are you man enough to walk a mile in a pair of red, high-heeled shoes? Clarion
University VDay Project and PASSAGES, Inc., invite men to Clarion’s first “Walk a
Mile in Her Shoes” march against sexual assault, rape and gender violence. Women are
encouraged to walk as well.
The walk begins at 4 p.m. April 9. Walkers should meet in 250/252 Gemmell Student Complex. Some shoes will be available to borrow, but men are still encouraged to walk if the groups run out of high heels. T-shirts saying “I am MAN enough to Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” will be given to the first 40 men to arrive. When men arrive, they will also be able to make a poster to carry as they walk.
