Clarion announces Learn to Swim, Learn to Dive programs

Clarion University’s swimming and diving program will offer its annual Learn to Swim and Learn to Dive programs for this spring. The programs are offered for children ranging in ability from non-swimmer to swimmer, plus parent/child classes and competitive swimming. Registration is from 5:30 to 7 p.m. March 24 and 25 in the lobby of Tippin Gymnasium.

Lessons begin April 7. Eight lessons will be offered to each student, with a total cost per person of $85, with a reduced fee of $80 for each additional child in the family.

The program will offer eight sessions from which to choose:

  • Session A, 4:15 to 4:45 p.m. or 4:50 to 5:20 p.m. Monday and Wednesday

  • Session B, 5:25 to 5:55 p.m. Monday and Wednesday

  • Session C, 6 to 6:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday

  • Session D, 6:35 to 7:05 p.m. Monday and Wednesday

  • Session E, 4:15 to 4:45 p.m. or 4:50 to 5:20 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday

  • Session F, 5:25 to 5:55 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday

  • Session G, 6 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday

  • Session H, 6:35 to 7:05 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday

 

Parent/child swim classes will meet on four Saturdays, beginning April 5, at a cost of $40. Classes are separate for ages 6 to 24 months and ages 2 to 3 years. Class is limited to 15.
