Dr. Jeanne Slattery, professor of psychology at Clarion University, was recently re-elected public interest board chair of Pennsylvania Psychological Association. As public interest chair she will serve on PPA’s board ofdirectors; oversee six committees (ethics, multicultural, gerontology, forensics and criminal justice, colleague assistance, and disaster response network); and serve on the board for Pennsylvania Psychological Foundation.
Slattery was also recently appointed as representative from the board of directors to PPA’s executive committee.
PPA's mission is to promote the science and practice of psychology by supporting psychologists
to meet the evolving needs of the public. Founded in 1933, PPA is the second largest
state association affiliated with the American Psychological Association.
Slattery received her bachelor's degree from Illinois State University and her master's
and doctorate from Miami University. She has taught at Clarion University since 1984.
