BFA students display work on campus, downtown

Students in Clarion University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts program will present their work at the 2014 BFA Student Show now through May 9 at Clarion University Art Gallery.

The show will feature works by: Annalise Sonney of Tidioute, Kyra Coleman of Carlisle, Lauren Sutley of Oil City, Robin Sodmont, Hastings, Stacey Roy of Sykesville and Stefan Gewiss of Emlenton. A reception for students will be from 6 to 8 p.m. May 2, and a reception for parents will be from 6 to 8 p.m. May 9.

Students will also display and sell their work during the Clarion Wine Walk, from 5 to 9 p.m. May 3. Artists include: Sonney, McKenzie Lenhart of Mercer, Autumn Wertz of Tyrone, Emily Sites of Mercersburg, Coleman, Roy, Ryan Prylinski and Kesley Fagan of Clarion.. The work will be shown at 6th and Main Gallery (The Lost and Found Exhibition); 6th and Main Market (“Slop Art”); and exhibition by Gary Greenberg at Michelle’s Café.
