Welcome to the Department of Mass Media Arts, Journalism, and Communication Studies homepage! We've changed our name!  The old Departments of Speech Communication and Communication have combined to form our new department.  We are proud to have one of the largest and most energetic programs at Clarion University. Our students are certainly some of the busiest on campus. We offer a B.S. degree in Mass Media Arts, Journalism and Communication Studies with concentrations in Public Relations, Advertising, Corporate Communication, Broadcasting, Journalism, and Communication Studies.  Plans are in the works to offer a brand new concentration in film studies!  We also offer a new online M.S. degree in Mass Media Arts and Journalism.

Our majors are encouraged to make the most of our facilities, and  unlike larger schools, our students can participate starting their first semester with us.
