Pennsylvania offers qualified employers the opportunity to train new and existing employees through WEDnetPA. The progressive training program, funded by the Department of Community and Economic Development, provides qualified companies with money for training in a wide range of essential skills and high-tech topics.

Pennsylvania is using its resources to invest in its workers to make sure they have the skills needed to compete in the global economy. We must ensure that businesses have access to a highly skilled labor force and that residents have the education and training they need. Together with the Workforce and Economic Development Network of Pennsylvania, the Commonwealth is making sure our working men and women remain competitive. We're working to improve the quality of life for our residents as well as our economy.

Since 1999, the Clarion University Office of Continuing Education has awarded more than $3.7 million in training!

The training has:

    • No application fee
    • No matching funds requirement
