Clarion offers Winter Intersession Online
REGISTRATION BEGINS OCTOBER 23, 2017
Clarion University will offer a Winter Intersession between the Fall and Spring terms again this year. All the courses to be offered in the session will be delivered online. Students do not need to be on campus to take a class.
This will be a separate term. There will be separate tuition charges, and financial aid does not disburse for this term. In some cases, your spring financial aid can be utilized to help cover these separate winter charges. Also, if you are not enrolled full-time for the spring term, your winter session classes will be combined with your spring schedule for financial aid eligibility and reporting purposes.
Classes will begin on Monday, December 18th after the last day of the Fall Term Examinations and run for just over three weeks until Jan. 17, 2018. To see a calendar for all the dates, please refer to the Registrar Web Page.
For a full list of the class schedule for the winter intersession, please refer to
the Schedule of Classes page.
Because most of the University will be closed for a part of this session, no on-campus student services will be provided. Library Services will be provided on a very limited basis. Please check the Library's home page for more information and a direct link to reference assistance. Office services (registrar, bursar, financial aid, computing services etc.) will be limited and not available for one week in the middle of the term. Credit-No-Record will not be an available option during this term. DROP/ADD period is Monday, Dec. 18, 2017 through Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017.
All winter intersession courses are open to students from other universities. Students from other universities and institutions interested in taking a Winter Intersession course should complete a "Quick Admit" form. Completion of this form begins the enrollment and course registration process.
