Clarion University Specialty Plates

They're beginning to appear.
Have you ordered yours?

Look around . . . . Have you seen the new Clarion University Specialty Plate on someone's car?  Perhaps a friend, or a neighbor, or even a co-worker has one on his/her car.  They've started showing up on vehicles all around the state!  Want one?  Just contact the Alumni Relations Office at 814-393-2572 to request an application.  The cost of the plate is $35 -- this covers plate production and processing -- and checks should be made payable to Clarion University Foundation, Inc. and be returned with the application in the envelope that will be provided with your application.

Once we receive completed applications, they will be forwarded periodically and in small batches to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles for production.  Upon submission to the Department of Motor Vehicles, plate production will take approximately 4 to 6 weeks.  New plates, stickers and owner's cards will be mailed directly to the registered driver.

Be sure to follow the law and return your old plate to the DMV.  You may do so by contacting your local state representative's office, and they can assist you in returning your plate at no charge.

You must be a resident of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to apply for the specialty plate.

Specialty plates are NOT available for motorcycles or trailers.
