Clarion University will conduct a Spring for Scholars auction to benefit academic and athletic scholarships. The auction will be held on March 21, 1998, at 6 p.m. at the Franklin Club in Franklin.
The evening will begin with a silent auction at 6:30 pm and an oral auction at 9 p.m. Approximately 12 big ticket items will be auctioned during the oral part.
Items are needed for the auction and we are asking alumni to help with donating an item. Smaller ticket items for the silent auction can include antiques, baskets, artwork, floral services, signed memorabilia, memberships, golf items, photo services, etc. Anything will be considered.
Examples of big ticket items for the oral auction include an evening with a celebrity, hot air balloon ride, week at someoneís condo or vacation home, hot tub, big screen TV, Broadway show tickets, weekend away, tickets to the Steelers.
The success of the auction rests with the support of alumni and friends. We appreciate any help.
