The Clarion University Alumni Association Board of Directors welcomed four new members to its September meeting: Gus Johnson of Pittsburgh, Patrick Maley of Ben Avon, John Mumford of Titusville, and Milissa Bauer of Clarion

Johnson of 2068 Calistoga Place, Pittsburgh, received his B.S. in secondary education from Clarion in 1953. He retired from the Pittsburgh Public Schools as a middle school principal in August 1993.

Maley ofBen Avon received his B.S./B.A. in marketing from Clarion in 1988. He is currently an assistant vice-president and regional manager of PNC Bank in Monroeville.

Mumford of Titusville received both a B.S. in education in 1973, and M. Ed. in education in 1976 from Clarion. He is currently director of the University of Pittsburgh's George Barco Center for Continuing Education in Titusville.

Bauer of Clarion received her B.S. in accounting from Clarion in 1984. She is currently the vice-pr esident of administration for The Kriebel Organization in Clarion. The Alumni Association Board of Directors strengthens Clarion University through: involving alumni with Clarion University, maintaining good public relations and a positive public image, fund raising and scholarship support, supporting enrollment activities, and legislative and career support.

Other activities include State System of Higher Education receptions, legislative activities, recruitment functions, and student involvement through Student Alumni Ambassadors.
