This is a hands-on position that requires you to be a team player.
The “Event Support Team” is responsible for meeting room setups in the
Gemmell Student Complex and lighting and sound requirements for a
variety of events and meetings held in Gemmell and across campus.
You must be able to attend a weekly staff meeting scheduled Tuesdays at
5 pm. You must be dependable, well organized and outgoing. You should
also have good interpersonal skills, be able to follow directions and to
work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends). Experience in
high school AV or theatre lighting and sound is helpful, but we will
train the right individual willing to learn. You must be able to lift
50-75 lbs. and have the ability to move equipment and furniture. It is
also a requirement that the applicant have no fear of heights.
Employees must be able to attend a training session the week before
classes begin, August 18, 2008 through August 22, 2008. Meals will be
provided as well as early entry into your campus or Reinhard housing. If
