We now have two options available to access principal certification.
The Colleges of Education at Slippery Rock University and Clarion
University of Pennsylvania have joined together to offer a unique approach
to obtaining principalship certification. Through the combined
resources of these institutions, candidates are presented with a high
quality, selective program designed to be completed in one year.
Classes utilize a cohort approach with 12-16 students per site and are
taught with interactive television--approximately one-half the courses
originate on each campus. The program requires substantial in-field
work to link theory to practice.
