Early Childhood Field Experience Requirements

Early Childhood majors and dual majors have additional field experience requirements based upon Pennsylvania Department of Welfare regulations and license requirements, National Association for the Education of Young Children Standards and Code of Ethics, the Clarion University Early Childhood Professional Behavior and Conduct requirements, and the Siler Children's Learning Complex Handbooks (Teacher Candidate and Faculty).

Important Dates

Mantoux (Tuberculosis/TB) Tests and Physical Examinations will be offered by the Keeling Health Center for Early Childhood and Early Childhood Block students at the beginning of each semester. As your instructor for details and dates.

• Mantoux Tests are valid for two years.
• Physical Examinations are valid for one year.

Badge Materials

All Early Childhood majors and dual majors must have a badge, current to the semester, to do any filed experiences with children.  Click here to download a Microsoft word version of the chart of all the documentation requirements.
