LEARNING PARTNERSHIPS
Learning partnerships are designed to offer high
school students the opportunity to participate in an active learning
environment at Clarion University. Learning Partnership agendas
are developed by the Honors Program in conjunction with faculty from
various departments. College students assist with learning
partnerships and interact with the high school students.
High school teachers, generally gifted program
coordinators, select students to participate based on interest, talents,
and expression of intent (essay). Selection is limited to high
school sophomores, juniors, and seniors. However, certain Learning
Partnerships may have more specific limitations. Space
is limited.
