How the Civilian Conservation Corps Shaped Western Pennsylvania

 

Developed as a response to the Great Depression, the Civilian Conservation Corps changed the landscape of the United States.  This project examines the impact of a group of young men on Western Pennsylvania resulting in products that can still be seen today.

Megan Rupert is from Kittanning, PA.  She has a major in Secondary Education Social Studies with minors in History and Spanish.  She will receive a Bachelor of Science degree.  During her undergraduate career, she participated in the Harrisburg Internship Experience.  Her career plans are to obtain a teaching position and pursue graduate study.
