Spring 2008: The Third Reich: Social Policy

Course Description:
An examination of Nazi Party social policy from 1933 to the collapse of the Reich in 1945.  The course includes an examination of the intellectual background of Nazism, the antecedent social policies of the Weimar and Wilhelmine eras, the role of concentration camps before the war and the fate of the Jews.
