Our Mission:
The Clarion University Athletic Department works collaboratively with others to support
our students’ pursuit of excellence by providing them with challenging opportunities
to develop their athletic, academic, professional and social skills, and to represent
the Clarion community through athletic involvement and competition.
Athletics at Clarion University has a strong tradition and a bright future. Together, we have faced challenges, and now, coupling the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s $42 million investment in Tippin Gymnasium with this campaign, we are poised to achieve greater competitive excellence within the PSAC and nationally.
Together, we will create the athletic facilities that our student-athletes deserve and our alumni and fans want; together, we will establish scholarships which will position our coaches to recruit and retain the most athletically talented and academically driven student-athletes; and, together, we will ensure our athletic excellence.
We are grateful for your past support, and we ask you to invest in our future success.
This campaign is about laying the foundation for our programs to develop into the best the conference has to offer. When the quality of our facilities matches the drive of our coaches, and the amounts and types of scholar- ships that we can provide meet the determination of our student-athletes, Clarion University will once again be recognized as a program that develops champions across all of our athletic programs.

When finished, the new Tippin Natatorium will feature six gleaming new lanes and an enhanced diving well. And, while the program’s future is enduring, the opportunity to claim your lane or diving board is limited! There are six lanes, two 1-meter and two 3-meter diving boards available for naming.
