Clarion University is far from the hectic pace of the big city-it's a great place to focus on your future and the perfect place to spend part of your summer.  At Clarion, teachers can get to know you and work closely with you.

The Emerging Scholars Program gets you started on college survival skills and lets you have fun while you're doing it.

The Emerging Scholars Program has three steps.  The first two steps are free.  You may receive financial aid for the third step.

Step 1: Rising Juniors
Spend one week on campus during the summer (in July) after 10th grade.  We assess your math, reading, and writing skills and give you tips for improving.  You work with other scholars and university staff and have a great time.

Step II: Rising Seniors
Spend two weeks on campus during the summer (in July) after 11th grade.  You build on your experiences from the past summer and prepare to take the SAT.

Step III: Graduates
Attend Clarion University and start college during the summer after your high school graduation.  You can take regular college courses for credit.
