The Office of Social Equity is pleased to bring the celebrated author, William Loren Katz to Clarion University. “William Loren Katz is best known for his 40 exciting history books — including such award winning classics as Black Indians, The Black West and Black Women of the Old West. After graduating from Syracuse University with a BA in history in 1950 and from New York University in 1952 with an MA in Secondary Education, Katz taught social studies in New York City and State secondary schools and served as a curriculum consultant for 14 years.”
