A Pre-Bid Meeting was held at the project site at 10:00 a.m. April 29, 2008 to review the project, bid requirements, scope and project schedule. The following items were discussed.
1. April 29, 2008 was the only opportunity to visit the Data/Computer Room. The remainder of the site may be reviewed at any time prior to the bid, and must be scheduled with the University prior to site visit two (2) days in advance.
2. The project schedule was discussed and
was noted that all bids must be in the hands of the University no later than
2:00 p.m. on May 13, 2008. Bids will not
be accepted after this time. Please allow
enough time, i.e. bids are being mailed in for delivery by 2:00 p.m. on May 13,

3. Note that 180 calendar days are allotted for completion of the work starting on receipt of notice to proceed from the University. Also noted that there will be liquidated damages in the amount of $200.00 for each calendar day before the completion date.

5. It was noted that prevailing wage rates will apply. Clarion noted they have a web page at www.clarion.edu (under Administration heading) to provide current information on this and other University construction projects.

To: Prospective Bidders
This addendum forms part of the contract documents and modifies the original contract documents dated March 14, 2008 Please acknowledge receipt of this addendum in space provided on the Bid Proposal Form.
The addendum consists of one (1) page and covers modifications to technical specification.
Table of Contents:
1. Division 16 – Electrical Systems; the Section 16510 “Lighting Fixtures” shall be eliminated. Section does not exist.
2. Appendix 9; page 1 or 3 contract numbers/cost range and MBE/WBE read participation levels shall read CL.660.4 instead of CL 667.4.
Drawings
1. Drawing E-00 lower sheet, Drawing Index, site plan drawing number shall be changed to SE-1, not E-4 as indicated.
