Dr. Jeffery AllenOpportunities today for careers in health care and human services are vast, and Clarion University's College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) fulfills the needs of students pursuing those opportunities. There has never been a more dynamic and vibrant time to consider a career as a health and human services professional. The College is the integrative home to the Department of Nursing, Department of Communication Science & Disorders and the Department of Human Services, Rehabilitation, Health and Sport Sciences.

The College offers a variety of high quality programs that provide students exceptional opportunities for applied learning including, clinical practice, internships and practicums outside of the classroom. Students benefit in numerous ways from the pedagogical and clinical synergy that accompanies learning within a truly interprofessional community. 

Students can expect to be professionally prepared to provide service in a global environment in existing and emerging fields through service, research and interdisciplinary collaboration. Programs are offered on the Clarion campus, Venango campus, Online and at the Pittsburgh site. The diverse faculty in CHHS are nationally and internationally renowned clinical scientists and educators as well as advocates for their professional disciplines and the individuals and communities they serve.

To students currently enrolled in CHHS, I speak for everyone in the College when I say that our passion is fostering your progression toward becoming a knowledgeable, caring, and successful health and human services professional.
