The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics notes that registered nurses will experience greater job growth than any other occupation by 2018, with 581,500 jobs or a 22.2 percent increase.

Nursing is the nation's largest health profession with more than 2.5 million jobs world-wide. In fact, nurses are the largest single component of hospital staffs.

Our degree ladder approach allows you to start and/or continue your nursing career from the associate degree level through the doctorate level. The nursing faculty consists of experienced educators with expertise in many nursing specialties and share those experiences with you in the classroom.
Clarion University now offers the Opioid Treatment Specialist Certificate, which can serve as an appropriate complement to any nursing degree and enhance a student's job prospects upon graduation. The Opioid Treatment Specialist Certificate aims to address the growing opioid epidemic.
