Clarion University–Venango Campus Honors
Student Achievement

OIL CITY, PA—Over 200 students and their families
attended Clarion University–Venango Campus’ Honors Night celebration at the
Quality Inn in Franklin on Friday, April 21, 2006. The annual event recognizes
the achievement of students receiving scholarships and those who excel
academically and in leadership positions. Outstanding Student Awards, Special
Achievement Awards, and Dean’s List certificates were presented to the student
honorees.
Dr. Todd J. Pfannestiel, Associate
Professor of History, delivered the keynote address and Dr. Joseph P.
Grunenwald, President of Clarion University, offered remarks.
“My colleagues and I are delighted to
recognize and celebrate the achievements of our students this evening,” said
Dr. Christopher M. Reber, executive dean at Clarion University–Venango Campus,
“and exceedingly grateful to the sponsors whose generosity has provided
life-changing opportunities for students for whom a college education might
not otherwise be attainable.”

Clarion University-Venango
Campus, located in Oil City, PA, is the oldest regional campus in
Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education. The campus provides
