Live Painting Artist to Appear at Clarion University-Venango Campus
OIL CITY, PA- Live painting artist Kevin Wenner will produce a painting live at the Robert W. Rhoades Center Auditorium at Clarion University-Venango Campus on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
"Originally hailing from Cleveland, Kevin is a 1986 Art Institute of Pittsburgh graduate. A "Live Action Painter" since 1994, he pursues his artistic vision by expressively completing a billboard sized painting in a timed fashion. He has executed many of these works in conjunction with rock and jazz bands, orchestras, dance troupes and even The Pittsburgh Opera. When not performing or displaying art in the occasional group show, Kevin has busied himself creating imagery appearing in many of the areas hottest spots, Bossa Nova, Cafe Allegro and Phipps Conservatory to name only a few. Kevin appeared in the very first FLUX event, held in September of 2000, at the space that is now the Pittsburgh Glass Center" The FLUX.
