Personal and Professional Development Classes

This Darned Headache! investigates the muscles and nerves of the cervical spine, trigger points, and referral patterns of pain. Learn treatment protocols to alleviate symptoms of different kinds of headaches. A great class for massage students, therapists, nurses, and/or anyone interested in alternative and complementary medicine.

80-hour Certificate Course in Medical Insurance/Coding/Billing provides students with an understanding of how to complete the insurance and billing process in a medical office. This course provides students with the knowledge to select diagnosis and procedure codes for optimal reimbursement. Course is designed to prepare students for all coding scenarios leading to national certification. Prior knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medical Anatomy recommended.

Computer Classes

Introduction to Web Page Creation: Writing HTML Code focuses on development of basic coding skills in HTML necessary to create, modify, and enhance Web pages for personal and business use. Includes hands-on experience in creating Web pages that includes text, hyperlinks, tables, and frames for presenting information on the Internet. Prerequisites: Familiarity with computers and Windows desktop operating systems.
