Clarion University to Hold MBA Exploratory Meeting at
Joy Mining Machinery
OIL CITY, PA—Clarion
University–Venango Campus and the university’s College of Business
Administration are assessing the interest of area employers in a Master of
Business Administration (M.B.A.) program for their employees, offered through
a combination of live instruction on weekends and web-based courses.
A
meeting will be held on Monday, July 10, from 10 a.m. to noon at Joy Mining
Machinery at 120 Liberty Street in Franklin. This meeting is open to human
resources professionals, managers, business owners, and others representing
businesses that might be interested in joining a consortium to create a cohort
of employees. Negotiated rates will be available to consortium members. Once a
minimum number of students is reached, the university will offer the program
to the public.
The
M.B.A. program is being developed with a proposed start date of Fall 2007. The
Clarion University Master of Business Administration program is accredited by
AACSB International, the premier national accrediting agency for university
Schools of Business.
