In this comic musical allegory, part traditional musical and
part British vaudeville, an Everyman, Cocky, attempts to
play “The Game of Life” with an aristocrat who changes
the rules as he goes along. Downtrodden, he succeeds
when he discovers the real rules of life. By the composers
of Willy Wonka, Doctor Doolittle, and Stop The World, I
Want to Get Off the show spawned the hit songs, Who
Can I Turn To?, The Joker, On a Wonderful Day Like Today,
and Feeling Good which has been recorded by everyone
from Tony Bennett to Michael Bouble to the Pussycat Dolls.

SEUSSICAL, The Musical

Seussical is about believing in yourself, keeping promises
and the rewards of being an independent “thinker.” The
musical takes the audience into the wonderfully fantastic
world of the places and characters of the beloved children’s
author Theodore Geisel, known to the world as Dr. Seuss.
Seussical manages to incorporate bits and pieces of at
least 12 Seuss classics, including Horton Hears a Who,
Horton Hatches the Egg, Gertrude McFuzz, If I Ran the
Circus, McElligott’s Pool, I Had Trouble in Getting to Solla
Sollew, and of course, The Cat in the Hat! Rated G
Once On This Island

Set on a Caribbean Island in the French Antilles, this highly
original and theatrical Caribbean adaptation of the Hans
Christian Anderson fairy tale The Little Mermaid sings and
dances the story of Ti Moune, the peasant girl who rescues,
nurses and falls in love with Daniel, an aristocrat from a
wealthy family. When Daniel is returned to his people, the
gods who rule the island guide her on a quest to test the
strength of her love against the powerful forces of prejudice,
hatred and death. Rated PG
